Reward Redemption

  • Cashback Redemption: These CashPoints can be used to pay your credit card statement at ₹ 1 per point of CashPoint earned.
  • Product Catalog: The Customers can redeem CashPoints at ₹0. 30 per point for purchases at HDFC’s product catalogue.
  • Flight/Hotel Bookings: CashPoints at ₹0 to avail an offer. 10 points per Rupee for quantities up to Rupees Two Hundred spent on eating joints using HDFC SmartBuy offers; 30 per point for booking flight tickets and hotels through HDFC SmartBuy.
  • Airmiles: CashPoints can be converted into AirMiles at the ratio of 0. 30 AirMiles per point.
  • Minimum Redemption: At least 500 CashPoints are needed for statement balance redemption.
  • Redemption Fee: There is a ₹50 charge for every redemption request made against the overall statement balance.
  • Points Validity: CashPoints are valid up to 2 years from the date of being earned.

Exclusions on Reward Points/Cashback

  • Fuel Transactions: Cashback and CashPoints are not given on fuel.
  • Rent Payments: Lack of rewards for paying the rent, when using the card.
  • Government Transactions: In this section, one of the drawbacks of this method of earning rewards may be mentioned as follows:
  • EMI Transactions: Refund is not possible for EMI transactions and voucher codes cannot be used in combination with cashback.
  • Wallet Loading: Using digital wallets to store and transfer of funds does not attract points into the CashPoints account.
  • Cash Advances: These include the following; cash advances are not part of the rewards.
  • Card Fees Payment: Whatever is spent on card fees does not attract the earning of any reward.
  • Smart EMI/Dial an EMI Transactions: Smart EMI or Dial an EMI transaction: There are no rewards for these types of transactions.

Who Can Apply for the HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Card?

  • Age: A person must be at least 21 years of age and must not be older than 40 years.
  • Income Requirements:
    • Salaried Employees: Minimum monthly take-home pay of ₹ 35000.
    • Self-Employed Individuals: Minimum annual income which is evident from Income Tax Return (ITR) should be ₹6,00,000.
  • Residency: The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
